How Octivary works today
Choice Compass rankings are based on the documented comparison criteria and the priorities a visitor selects. No company pays to change a ranking, receive a preferred score, or influence an editorial conclusion.
Potential future business work
In the future, Octivary may build listings and Choice Compasses for businesses. That is not an active service, commercial program, or solicitation today. If that changes, this policy and the relevant public pages will be updated before work is offered or accepted.
Rules for any future commercial relationship
- Any paid, sponsored, enhanced, or client-created content will be clearly labelled where a reader sees it.
- Payment will not buy a ranking or alter Choice Compass scoring.
- Paid outbound links, if ever used, will be labelled and handled with the appropriate link attributes.
- Sources, review dates, and correction instructions will remain visible.
- Editorial conclusions will be distinguished from vendor-supplied information and firsthand experience.
