Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account or subscribe to the newsletter. By creating an account or subscribing, you represent that you are 18 or older. Do not provide personal information through Octivary if you are under 18.

Privacy and personal information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal information, including advertising and Site settings choices, account data, newsletter information, and your privacy rights. It is part of these Terms of Use.

Accounts and newsletters

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your credentials confidential, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. You may request account deletion through the process described in the Privacy Policy. Newsletter signup requires separate consent and may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link in a newsletter email.

Medical disclaimer

Octivary does not provide medical advice. This tool compares publicly available product information to support personal decision-making. It is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider when making medical decisions.

How scoring works

Scores are relative and based on the criteria you choose and prioritize. No product is objectively “best,” and rankings will change when your priorities change.

Acceptable use

• Use Octivary for personal comparison and exploration.
• Use an account or newsletter subscription only if you are 18 or older.
• Do not treat results as clinical guidance or medical advice.
• Do not misuse or misrepresent product data or Octivary’s rankings.
• Do not interfere with, probe, or attempt unauthorized access to Octivary or other users' accounts.

Product information and attribution

Listings use publicly available information and may include manufacturer names, specs, and links to official product pages. Octivary is not affiliated with or endorsed by manufacturers unless explicitly stated.

Octivary currently has no sponsored listings, paid placements, affiliate partnerships, or business-client programs. Any future commercial relationship will be governed by the Commercial & Editorial Independence policy.

Decision Template contributions

Account holders may save private comparison templates. Contributors must not submit harmful, threatening, discriminatory, deliberately misleading, or unlawful content and must submit information in good faith. Authorized Octivary administrators may review contributed templates for safety, accuracy, and quality.

By accepting the contributor agreement, you permit Octivary to review, edit, reproduce, and publish submitted information. Publication is not guaranteed. If information is featured, it becomes a separate editorial copy; later changes to or deletion of your private template do not change that published copy.

No warranties

Octivary is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability of listings or results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octivary and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the site or reliance on its comparisons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use when our service, practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated terms here, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice through the service or by email when a change is material and notice is required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
